At ENI, the design team is a big part of our mission to make production as efficient as possible. They make sure the product design is optimised for manufacturing, to reduce resources needed from both us and you.

Our Approach

We work with 2D and 3D CAD modelling software ‘Auto Desk Inventor’. The software programme allows our mechanical engineers to develop and adjust components, so your product can move through our factory seamlessly.

Our team can bring your vision to life, whether it’s a rough sketch or an elaborate visual 3D design. We can guide you from the prototyping process right through to ongoing production.

Our Offering

What software does ENI use for CAD designs?

We use Autodesk Inventor for all our CAD designs, ensuring precision and efficiency in every project.

Is ENI’s 3D modelling compatible with other software?

Yes, our Autodesk Inventor 3D modelling is compatible with most CAD software, making it easy to transfer your designs to our team. If you're unsure about compatibility, get in touch—we’ll make it seamless.

When should I involve ENI Manufacturing?

The earlier, the better. Whether you have a rough sketch or a refined CAD model, we can help develop a manufacturable product or optimise your design for production. Getting us involved early helps avoid costly rework down the track.

Can ENI handle structural sign-offs?

Yes, we can arrange structural sign-offs through our trusted partners. While we don’t have in-house certified structural engineers, we work closely with specialists who can issue PS1 Certificates when needed.

What expertise does the ENI design team bring?

Our design team is a blend of engineers and manufacturing specialists, working together to turn concepts into reality. From initial design thinking to execution on the factory floor, we ensure every detail is optimised for efficiency and performance.

Design & Automation

To ensure a seamless process, our design team has a digital link to our programmes on the factory floor. We work with automated metal fabrication machines and software by Trumpf. Our design team programmes these to reduce material wastage as much as possible.
